Understanding our mission, vision, and journey

Our Story

The Society of Clinical Anatomists was founded on the 19th of July 2011 by Nine Clinical Anatomists from Salem and one Clinical Anatomist from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, who all signed as members of the First Governing Body in the registered Memorandum of Association (By-laws Document).

The Society of Clinical Anatomists was registered with the Registrar of Societies at Salem, Tamil Nadu, India under the TN Societies Registration Act 1975.

SOCA was inaugurated on the 9th of June, 2012 at Hotel Ashok Residency, in front of Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Porur, Chennai, by the eminent Clinical Anatomist Dr. Sudha Seshayyan, Former Vice Chancellor of The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
